“You’re Not My Father!”

I had a post for the Treewave show que’d up in my drafts, but simply plumb fergetted about it. Too bad, I would have like to have gone. I just got an email from a FineLineFreak who sent me a link to Paul Slocum’s brilliant piece, You’re Not My Father, a video montage of a scene from Full House. I laughed ’til I pee’d a little. Check it out. Paul is freakin’ genius.
I did a commission for Networked Music Review (part of Turbulence) which launched yesterday online and at my new show at Dunn & Brown.
This is a project I came up with three years ago, to find people through message boards and Craigslist to reshoot this scene from the TV show, Full House. But I had to get my hands on the footage from the show and get some funding to do. My first blog post related to my research for this project is here from January 2005.
This project is a 2007 commission of New Radio and Performing Arts, Inc. for Networked_Music_Review. It was made possible with funding from the New York State Music Fund, established by the New York State Attorney General at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.
