I dunno what the hell was going on, but…on my way home from Deep Ellum this evening, whilst sitting in traffic on northbound I-75-Central, police cars began speeding down both sides of the median and came to a stop around the Coit/Forest exit. I was already pretty close, not close enough to see the beginning, but close enough to drive past in the mid-beginning. I’ve never actually seen anything like it in person. About 6 patrol cars, with 2 cops per car perched behind their car doors with weapons pointed at the white car they had surrounded.

Strangely, at least to me, was that I counted a good 10 or so guns, locked and loaded, yet none of the officers did anything to stop oncoming traffic. I mean, was this a shoot-out? I doubt it was a high-speed car chase cuz…well, from about Ross Avenue until I arrived at my exit in Richardson, I think I topped out at 27 mph.

No real reason for this posting out loud…just an interesting experience, I suppose. I hope they worked everything out….
