‘Nuther fun time at Bend Studio on Sunday, featuring two major FineLineLoves, Rahim Quazi and Salim Nourallah. I’ve been swearin’ up-and-down (I know Ma, that’s not nice) that I’m going to attempt Yoga this year. Might have to swing by this dealio prior to Poor David’s. Speaking of Rahim, his lovely wife hipped me to this news a few months back, but I kept it under wraps until Rahim said it out loud:

This has been a tough year hacking away in the trenches(recording, writing, shows, and travel); striving to make a mark and make a living with my creativity. My big news is that a publishing company based in Nashville, SWITR Inc., has picked me up as a writer/artist. They intend to shop my songs to other artists and to encourage and develop me as an artist as well. The company also produces a tv show (recently picked up by PBS) that showcases songwriters which I am slated to be a part of as well. Being signed in this way is a great opportunity and I excited to say the least. My hope is that I can introduce my fellow local musicians to this new world I have found myself in. Co-writing will be a great way to do this.

Also, my album, SUPERNATURAL, is being mastered and is due out this early Spring. This is something I will be very proud of and want to throw a major chunk of respect and appreciation to Salim and Rip at Pleasantry Lane for investing in this body of work and treating as they would their own. I am lining up a few full band shows. stay tuned!—and thank you all for your patience!
