How Did This Happen?

My baby-girl-child turned 18 today. I can’t believe it. Eight-freakin’-teen. She’s in the mountains with her dad. I wish she was here. I want to hug her and never let go.

Its crazy, isnt it? My baby (boy named cash) was born monday and i cant believe he is already a week, I cant even imagine 18 years!!! I put a video on my blog site if you want to check it out (not a “birth video”, dont worry. I hope everything is going well in SA for ya’ll. See ya!

She really is beautiful. And I mean that in a hopefully non-creepy way…
And as someone who is pushing the big 4-oh and was on the receiving end of an unsolicited motherly lecture just last night, I think I can reassure you that you’ll never REALLY let her go. Once a mom, always a mom. (At least to the folks to whom you actually ARE a mom…)
