Tell Fred to Chill the Wine

Posted by Cindy on May 4th, 2007

There are lots of good shows going on this weekend. Frankly, with recovery and pending prom night tonight, I just don’t have the strength to plod through every venue website for show recommendations. Go see what Sam has suggested. He’s always dead-on with great picks.

Speaking of SaMach, the kid put together one hella-splendid Podcast. Really. Hella. Splendid. Go here for pure joy to your ears. If you see Sammy out this weekend, buy him a birthday beer. Happy birthday love.

For, like, ever I’ve been promising myself I’d hit Fred’s in Fort Worth for their annual FredFest. I really suck when it comes to my Fort Worth promises. However, tomorrow I shall rectify that suckiness. Since I do quite well at actually showing up when shows begin in the daylight hours, I’ll head towards Panther City ’round noonish tomorrow for my first ever FredFest. It’s a gangbuster line-up, chock full of great artists and good friends…
