Reward for Any Information Regarding Collin Herring
Posted by Cindy on March 30th, 2007

Hey Patrick, I’ve been thinkin’ the same thing. I was wonderin’ myownself at this year’s SXSW where the hell Collin and Ben Roi Herring have been hidin’ themselves. Last time I saw either one of ‘em was at Maria’s Taco Xpress for the Sin City Shindig (pictured above) last year in Austin. I know Patrick and Alex Kanakis caught up with Collin and Ben Roi last year for a video chat – but that’s not mine to post no mo’. Oh yeah, and there was that fated interview in Fort Worth that never came to pass due to mixed-up directions and a pending conference panel, but only Hunter Hauk knows of what I speaketh.
I thought of the Herrings again today while visiting Patrick, cuz it seems he done been wonderin’ the same thing. Aaaaah great minds and all that blather. For example, The Other Side of Kindness, as well as Avoiding the Circus still sit in my stack of best albums ever. Below are a few of my particularly favorite tracks.
I know Collin was in the studio with some pretty heavy-duty musical hotshots, working on his third album. That’s all I know. Wherefore art thou Collin Herring? Where you be, man?

Let’s corner Collin and grill him over his glaring absence from the music scene. Or maybe we can just fawn over him and tell him how wonderful he is and how much he’s been missed. Either way….

You hold him down and I’ll kiss his ass…if only we knew where to find him…
