I have a confession. This, my 4th or 5th year at SXSW, is yet another that I may find myself at mostly DdFW/Texas-based shows. It’s just so nice to attend day shows, hang out with friends and see the bands I love the most without worries about the 2 am drive back to North Dallas. I’m taking my girl-child with me this year as a…*shudder*…high-school graduation present…so part of my time will be spent following her (“a few feet behind”) to the really cool indie shows, as well.
