Today I decided to check out this Life in Deep Ellum/ellum: ONSTAGE in person and see what this joint is all about. As I sit here typing this moment, I can’t wait to go back. Lemme tell ya something kids, this place is probably one of the best (if not the best) venues in town to see a live show.
A divine listening room or a place to hang with your coffee
Great rooms, unbelievable sound system, helpful, friendly staffers…clean. Plus, they are a wonderful source for the local Deep Ellum community.

So I asked Johnny Lloyd Rollins to meet me over there so’s we could have a chat-it-up with Rocky Presley about the upcoming North by Southwest extravaganza that kicks off Saturday. March 10th.

Our newest-born mega-venue has pulled off a pretty impressive little festival, bringing local and national talent to their stage(s). Getcherselves rested-up for one helluva festivus.

oh yeah… the northbysouthwest website hasnt been updated… so the dates/times and bands are all wrong..

Actually the song video loaded first, then when I loaded the talking video it erased the performance…the whole deal took about 5 hours too…sigh…I tnink I’m switching to Google or YouTube for my videos…dammit…I’m retrying to load this morning and hopefully we’ll have us some Johnny in the next couple of hours…

Bill, Saturday’s show looks awesome! I’d be there too, but I’m volunteering at SXSA/SAIndie Fest.
However, I’ll be at North by Southwest all day/night on Monday!
