This was a blast to make with Mr. Rid(Mark Ridlen)! Mr. Rid and me have always shared a love for oddball and exotic music. He's one of the most creative guys I know.
It was a strange process of remixing rare old tracks with new songs. Several tracks were mixed and recorded at the home studio, including sessions with Mr. Peppermint, Muffin, and RL Griffin.
The huge sound that Peter Schmidt handed to us on “I’m On An Island”, blew my mind!
Cricket's voice and styling on “Bali Hai” is so sensual...
Jeff Liles piece story is so hilarious. Trader Vic's was odd enough with the acid.

We have a finished Texotica 2 mixed and ready to be released, hiding in my studio. It contains original tracks from Earl Harvin, Polyphonic Spree, Gospel Swingers, Chao, Hydroponic Soundsystem, Kim Pendleton, and many more.
We need to cough up a couple of grand to release it. Might do the iTunes release soon.
Thanks for listening and posting this Cindy, You rock!
I'll take a case of coconuts or bananas...
