The Rose Bowl Parade and all those glorious marching bands – I’m in hog Heaven…(Bob Eubanks claimed one of my all time favorites Grambling State Tiger Marching Band are supposed to perform, but I ain’t seen ‘em yet – dammit)

    What’s a shako for god’s sake?
    With two school band percussionists in the house I guess I’ll finally have to find out. Alas, the geek factor in our house just keeps going up. Don’t be such a stranger even if you are moving away.

    Omigawd MISSY! This post was done with you in mind! I’ll never forget that little video and your confusion as to the whole “shako” thingie!

    We’ll get together soon. Our boys should be the next Hanson and Cousin!
