I’ll let you in on a little secret. For me, the music scene isn’t really all about the music. In just a few short days you’ll find a big-ass post marking my 4th year of doing this (and the other) blog. The name may have changed a few months back, and a whole helluva lot of my content now resides on someone else’s server, but for the most part, including the addition of Amanda, this place is very much the same as it was when I started it way back when….digression alert…oops, too late. My point is, next to the music, it’s the people that keep me plugging along. I’ve met musicians and artists who I now consider very good friends. The personalities, the stories, the humor, the all of it is what makes doing this so much fun. I’ll elaborate more on that on my big 4th birthday post, but for now I just wanted to mention that today I got to meet and chat with a couple of really talented, really interesting, really fun artists. I drove home with a goofy smile all the way back up Central Expressway.
