Wow. The past few weeks have been rough on a couple of us music folk. I said goodbye to my original established blog/site, and about a week prior to that gut-wrenching decision, Frank Hejl was handed the pink slip that slammed the door on one of the best local radio programs this metromess has seen…or rather heard.
Just cuz Frank mistakenly played a tune that had an *horror* expletive in the lyrics, KNTU pulled the plug on his 3-year old, award nominated, rad indie radio show. You can see ass on ABC prime time teevee, but no cussin’ on college radio. Whatever.
The body has officially been pronounced dead, so please join Frank tonight at Rubber Gloves for the best damn funeral you’ll ever attend.
